Osprey Point Golf Course Review
March 14, 2023
Spending time in South Florida has provided a few opportunities for me to play a round or two with my boyhood friend Ant.
We recently were able to settle into a game at Osprey Point Golf Course. Located in beautiful Boca Raton, Florida, this 18-hole course is designed to challenge all levels of golfers, from beginners to experienced players.
With its lush greens, rolling fairways, and stunning views, Osprey Point Golf Course is the perfect spot for a relaxing day of golf.
Right away when I walked up to the clubhouse I knew know I was in for a great round.
The practice areas are right off the parking lot and they were full of players warming up and trying to sharpen their golfing skills. I even saw a few swing coaches with their students.
Remember, we are in the heart of Florida golf, which means there are people from all levels of golf here. At Osprey Point Golf Course all of them can and will be challenged.
The course itself is well-maintained and offers a variety of opportunities to test your skills. From the tee boxes to the greens, every hole is unique and offers something different.
The greens are well-kept and provided a smooth and consistent putting surface. In my opinion the best part was the quality of the greens – which directly translated to the quality of my putting.
The fairways are lined with trees, water and other natural features. I could see that this was a mature course. The use of the nature was top notch. Making for an enjoyable round of golf.
Sabrina, the cart vendor, rode around the course making sure my playing partners and I had enough to eat or drink while playing.
Osprey Point Golf Course was full for every tee time. However, the usual waiting at every hole didn’t happen. The marshals kept everyone moving along and the course played very smoothly.
I would give Osprey Point Golf Course a birdie.
The price was higher than I usually pay. At $98 for my round – I couldn’t justify this course for my weekly track. However, when the opportunity presents itself, I wouldn’t turn it down.
Weather you’re a beginner or an experienced golfer, you’ll find something to enjoy here. With its beautiful scenery, well-maintained course, and challenging holes, Osprey Point Golf Course is a great place to spend a day out on the links.
